During the course of his Bachelor of Civil Law Cathal gained his first legal experience with a medium-sized general practice firm on the Western Seaboard being involved primarily in the personal injuries litigation department.
Cathal returned to his native Dublin in 2015 to work with a Dublin 2 firm specialising in particular in the area of apartment related transactions and litigation. Here Cathal also gained invaluable experience in family law, debt collection, conveyancing and property related litigation. While at this firm Cathal completed a course in Practical Legal Training with a Distinction grade awarded. He has since completed Law Society courses in Data Protection, Employment Law and Arts and Media Law.
Cathal trained with a Dublin 4 firm where he honed his skills in the property department, advising clients in all aspects of property law and guiding them through the process of buying and selling residential properties.
Cathal was added to the Roll of Solicitors in 2019 and was welcomed to the team in David Walley + Co Solicitors that same year. Cathal shares the values of David Walley + Co Solicitors by assisting clients in navigating their legal circumstances with clarity, warmth and integrity. His focus is on efficient communication in plain English, with an understanding of the concerns faced by clients who are buying and selling properties.
